Two photos of us at various balls in Louisville. In the first I'm wearing a green velvet doublet made by my father's tailor in Toronto years ago (similar to a single-breasted Montrose doublet, but not quite!).

In the second photo I'm wearing a navy velvet doublet made by my tailor in London Meyer & Mortimer. I am very partial to this one!

Thanks, I wish I could wear it at my retirement ceremony. This past Friday I was on funeral detail with a private and this other sergeant asked me if I was going to wear my kilt, thought that was funny, but said no as I am required to get on one knee to present the US flag to the widow, etc..
