Scene 41

Jungle Outpost in the Guyana Highlands

I saw Secuaz’s arm drift slightly and made my move. I quickly pushed him away and dove at the two guards holding the girl.

“Run!” I ordered her as we fell to the ground.

The girl was too frightened to move, however. She stayed there on the ground, her eyes wide in terror as she watched us struggle.

Ms. Swan quickly understood the situation and ran to the girl. She pulled her to her feet and drug her away. Ms. Crane quickly grabbed the girl’s other arm and helped pull her away.

I struggled with one of the guards, but was unable to do anything about the other. The other guard raised his rifle and pointed it at the fleeing women.

Before the guard could fire, a large, growling, shaggy mass of fur leapt at him, knocking the rifle aside. The guard struggled to keep Wompet’s teeth away.

Jock and Greg were running towards the building from which the girl had been pulled. They were going to secure that location so a threat to the women would not be used against us again.

Secuaz looked around, disbelief on his face that his setup was collapsing around him. His eyes settled on me and filled with fury.

“You!” he yelled. “You caused all this! You will pay!”

He raised his handgun and pointed it at me.

I heard the gunshot echo.

Commercial Break

A resort set by the sea

As the camera pans across the luxurious amenities of the resort, we hear the narrator speak.

“When it’s time to take a break from life, the best place to do it is the X Spa.”

The scene changes and we see a gorgeous blonde relaxing on the beach.

“You can soak up the sun on our private beach.”

The scene changes and we see a redhead receiving a massage.

“Get pampered in our extensive spa facilities.”

The scene changes and we see a pretty African American woman riding a jet ski.

“Let loose for some fun on the water.”

The scene changes and we see an attractive oriental woman eating a gourmet meal.

“Indulge yourself in our five star restaurant.”

The scene changes and we see a woman of Hispanic origins eating an ice cream cone.

“Or get a treat from our snack bar.”

The scene changes and we see a beautiful brunette dancing.

“Dance the night away in our disco.”

The scene changes and we see a large, bearded man wearing a kilt, sitting and sipping a drink. All the women we have seen before gather around him.

“Or just enjoy the company of your friends.”

The scene changes to show the resort again.

“Come to the X Spa, whenever you need a break.”

Aye, Jock, I am. I am also looking after your Gin while you're on medical leave. We don't want the natives tampering with something that might just prove a little strong for them.

No worries, anything to oblige.You just look after the boo.., er, disinfectant. Now, where has Wompet scuttled off to? My eye sight is not what is was, I would hate to put a hole in one of the home team!
