My favorite pic for now.
I am in at a friends property in NC for some hiking after working on crew for a film down there (kilted nearly the whole time.) I am wearing a wool blend fashion tartan kilt that I made myself.
I made the sporran as well.

I wasn't going to post this one.....
After all, I made a huge fashion faux pas by wearing a belt with a PC jacket, and the fly plaid is a little "over the top." But on consideration, something about it works. What do you think?

I had to post this one, it's one of my favorites.. It was right before piping at the Junior High school in WEST HAVEN Utah, where the Principle had to make a public apology for sending a student home for wearing a kilt and telling the boy that the outfit could be misconstrued as cross-dressing. you might remember it http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/u...highlight=utah

I like this one since it's the first time my son wore a kilt and he's worn his kilt almost every time that I wear mine.

My new favorite
This was taken at a friend's wedding as a group of friends and I showed up to the ceremony. Definitely my new favorite kilted pic...

Last night, my sister and her husband (who are leaders in SoCal Clan Donnachaidh) hosted a formal dinner party. Bob and I were photographed in front of their Christmas tree, in all our finery.

Abigail and I took a trip to Tallulah Gorge yesterday, and we got some great pictures. This one is my current favorite:

I like it because there's a great mix of elements: Firstly, my company in the picture is the very best! Secondly, the scenery is very nice, and the photo itself has good framing, interesting lighting, fine composition, etc. Finally, I like it because I look like I do on any given day- nothing fancy or dressy, just me.

This is by far and away my best kilted attire. I am on the staircase of Ferintosh wearing a 16oz, hand sewn, 8 yard kilt in Royal Air Force tartan. And of course, holding the Saltire.

Regards
Chas
