His dad and his girlfriend's mum have also signed it.

Last count it's up to 289. At least one is a duplicate,,but looks like it will break 300+ by the time it needs to be sent.

It's good to know that Nathan and his family are aware of all the support. Thanks for the updates.

Two are duplicates; one is mine, in the low ninties, and another is a couple of signers later. I don't know what happened; there must have been a brief hiccup in the system at the time.

Beth will go through it and edit out the duplicates before it gets released. She has already remove some.

Try just hitting post with out preview. This site tends to be a bit flaky,,,but then it's a free service.

Royce, I give up. I've tried every way I can find to sign the petition, and it just won't work for me. I don't even see an option to post without preview. I just hope all of the times I have tried haven't resulted in duplicate signatures. I do support The Clan Gunn association in their efforts not only on behalf of Nathan, but also of all persone of Scot and Celtic desent as well as all who wear the kilt respectfully without such connections.

I didn't have a submit button until after I previewed my entry.

The latest from the petition admin:
(Referring to Nathan's mom)She doesn't believe that the Cash-Book Journal, the local paper to Jackson, MO will print anything regarding the kilt situation. So, she has given me the names of two other news organizations to contact. I'll be taking the petition down as of Saturday to get it ready for submission. If any of you have links to sites where we can get more signatures, please pass it on. We are sitting at 298, just shy of 300
signatures. I would love to have closer to 500, because there are one or two that I will have to delete for invalidity. If they did not use their real name, I will be deleting them as invalid. I know of one person who used an internet nickname rather than his real name, and I can't see that as a valid signature. So, if you guys can pass it on to more places, please do.
thanks,
~ beth
