Both of those have ben my experience wearing a kilt. Compliments more when wearing jacket, waistcoat and sporran. Conversation starter even with utility kilts.

Great no screen time activity!
Archxpat, looks like a great idea! Hopefully soon I will be ambulating again! Broke my hip 2 months ago and the artificial hip I had put in 15 years ago had to have a new lower piece installed...
Can't wait to get out and about more! So in the meantime I am resizing kilts to a smaller size!

You look smashing! May I ask what boots you're wearing? The green laces bring Jim Green to mind, but they don't match any model I know of, so they're probably a different make.
