Sue's addy is www.sporrans.com
She was always nice to me. In fact, woke up this morning to an email response essentially saying she is under a lot of pressure from holiday orders and residual trauma from the four hurricanes down there, and even apologizing for calling me "less than a gentleman."
She's promised a full refund, but no offer of filing the original order.
Have a busy couple of days, will probably get with Robert over the weekend or Monday and try again.
Somewhere in this adventure there's a spiritual message....

Ron, Why don't you shoot an email over to Bear or Rudi at Celtic Empire. All the Sporrans come with leather straps that Rudi has made, and they are a good quality. I don't know what either would charge, or if they would even sell them seperately, but it is worth a shot. I have never waited more than 5 days for anything from Rudi, and I always get it in the post.

Okay, sent the Craigie chains back yesterday and ordered two belts from Robert this morning.
Thanks for your offer Robert, gonna finally join your fan club.
Did email Sue that I'd still like the straps, but haven't heard a response. Who knows, maybe I'll wind up with four.
If I'd known this addiction would also bring so much adventure I'm not sure if I'd have ordered that first Utilikilt last summer....

Dang! I wish I'd seen this thread earlier. I have some of Rudi's sporran straps lying around collecting dust.

Well, a surprise package at the post office today. Two sporran straps from Craigie...with a note apologizing for the delay...after she got mad at me and refused to do any work for me, then apologized, then thought I told her to forget the order since RKilts came through in a few days.
So now, three months after the first order I now have two more sporran straps. Nice, velcro lined, all leather, with little hooks for the back of my Freelander sporrans...
Must have paid for them somewhere in the last three months...
Guess I gotta buy two more Freelanders now to go with the straps.
What a crazy addiction this is....

Ron,
Firstly,Concrats with the straps.
Secondly, it would be nice to actually see some pictures of you wearing your Freelander sporrans after all this time.
