I only have barrels on the Apron. closing the apron against the wind I understand. But I only have a slit in the middle of the back of the kilt in the center seam. There is loop or barrel in the back. When I reach way under there and connect it it looks real weird. The apron get curled and bunched.
I am not real worried about it. I don't think I'd use it. Securing the Apron shut is enough.
Maybe I got to order one more Uk...for a friend...yea for a friend...as long as they are on the line maybe I should ask about a workman's for me...

I never used the between the legs thing, if I climb a ladder I would still have to worry about whacking someone in the face be it open or closed.

I have to say I am impressed. It is very comfortable and has a ton of feactures. I admit I do not understand how the modesty system works. I guess I won't use it or need it.
I'd say the fit is different than a custom measured kilt. Sort of like a pair of jeans compares to tailored pants. It rides a little hi or lo on my waist depending of my belt and meal size.
Honestly I wish they had a few more color choices. I got the Tan but I am not too into the Sage. I'd buy another in a different color if they had them. Maybe it is time to look a Workmen's Kilt...
Atticus, that muted Lamont kilt in your gallery is bloody gorgeous. VERRRRA noice! Who's the kiltmaker?
