Today is also my girlfriends birthday. Being as we live in southern California EVERYONE here celebrates her birthday with a party. Might have something to do with Cinco de Mayo too, but we like to think otherwise. And my Bday is two days away. For all of today and tomorrow I'll be dating an older woman!)

The 5th of May in Holland is Freedom Day to celebrate our liberation from Nazi occupation...it's 60 years ago today! I'm off to a celebratory concert, in my kilt of course!!

We have been remebering that here in Canada as well. Sadly we have fewer and fewer vetrans heading over to Hollad every year.
