kilted at work

What a bunch of winers :mrgreen: I regularly top out over 120+behind the grill with the exhaust fan going and two smaller fans drawing in cooler air. I don't care what type of material your kilt is made out of that is bloody hot.

Was my record down in Phoenix a while back..wearing a dang suit...asphault mooshed down when you walked on it...never again.

Moved north to Page, AZ where its usually at least 5 degrees, and sometimes 10 degrees, cooler than Phoenix.

But its more what you're used to living in than the actual temperature...

Reminds me, gotta call about that UK Spartan outfit tomorrow...

Yea it is great to be kilted at work. Today I had to do the mowing and weed wacking! I had no choice but to wear pants, but as soon as I was done with that chore I changed into the kilt! Boy I sure did feel a whole lot better and about 20 degrees cooler to boot!

So far I have had no bad comments from anyone just funny looks.he one guy that I thought would give me a hard time was very nice aabout the whole thing.

Mowing and garden work is my favourite time to wear my kilt, plus it gets exposure to the neighbourhood

Good for you, Kiltie!

I can't wear a kilt to my current job, it would get ruined the first day, but I just took an entry test for the post office. Your story is very encouraging.

...or design a USPO tartan, since I don't think there is one at present. I know the FBI and the Border Patrol have tartans, plus the various US military ones -- Heck, the Amtrack police have a pipe band; I have one of their shoulder patches!

I know I toyed around with the idea of a National Park Service tartan, or at least adopting the Muir tartan for park & forest rangers, in honour of John Muir.
