Eh? What's all this then? You people been talking about me behind my proverbial? Just because I haven't mentioned the fact that I have ordered a kilt from Robert, doesn't mean you can bandy my name about, y'know? Well, in case you hadn't noticed, I've not been about much in these parts for a while, so I couldn't mention it, could I?

Alright then, I'd better do so whilst I am here. Listen up, my kilted brethren: I have recently asked Robert to make me a kilt, in leather, in his British Tan leather and, I understand, I should be receiving it in about four weeks time, shortly before I leave for the Vancouver Gathering. Not that I plan on carting it all the way back to Canada, you understand. It would add too much weight to my suite of cases, portmanteaux, hat boxes and cabin trunks which will be accompanying me.

That looks like being kilt No.52 in my Kollection but, more importantly, it means that there will be a representation of 'R-Kilts' within this historically important and unique accumulation of Kilts of our Age!!

OK. That's done. Now, what's next? Oh, yes................

    Take care,
    Ham.
(PS: Note to Jeff: I've not forgotten you, Jeff. It's just that I truly cannot decide on the colours I'd like best for my two-tone. I am working on it though!)

    You're gonna love it Ham

British Tan was my second choice...My leather RKilt is the saffron, which I call "buckskin" and wish Robert would too...but not all the world is the country of the old wild west.

An unsolicited suggestion for your two color from Jeff...why not three color like my Arizona flag kilt, only with the British Union Jack colors. Royal blue kilt with red and white inserts...? Add a British flag patch down in the kilt pin area and a small one on the rear pocket flap to carry the idea to the curious...?

You have such a fashion flair and carry off wild looks so well...it'd be a natural for you....

Okay, back to minding my own business...

    Maybe,

But if you've seen Ham's gallery you know he can pull off wearing some very colorful looks.

Or, were you just being rude...?

Of course he is! Well I do know kiltbear has a very warped sense of humour (come to think of it .I do too, well maybe a little warped but he's definitly moreso than me ...yes I do think so) Then of course he is waiting for a rude comment from me regarding a certain type of apparell that he has procured from some other supplier ( I think it's good he spreads his wealth... don't you?)
Sorry Hank I will go to my corner...but he really had it coming...Ouch...I'm going I'm going
    Cheers

    Moi?
    Rude?
    How dare you suggest that!
I am politeness personified (and anyone who disagrees I will t*at them)
I am merely stating the truth re Union Jack coloured clothing. I forgot to mention that very common people are also prone to bedecking themselves in red white and blue (shivers). And as for a warped sense of humour.....
Did you hear about the two Palestinian women having a cup of goats milk on the West Bank?
One digs into her handbag and pulls out a pic of her son.
    This is Ahmed she says
I remember him the other says....he was such a beautiful baby
Yes he was...he is a martyr now...
The other digs into her handbag and she too pulls out a pic
This is my Iqbal she says...
    I remember Iqbal....such a beautiful child.
Yes he was....he too is a martyr now

They both look wistfully at the pix of their sons and then look at one another and say......bad taste moment coming.......be warned....

    Don't they blow up fast.....
