Saw them in Knoxville last weekend. An incredible show! I meant to pick up a couple of CDs and got sidetracked at one of the vendor tents with my wife and forgot. Looks like I'll be doing some online shopping.

Rookie,
I'm, glad to hear you posted on seeing the Bhoys. I think you'll like the new CD when you get your hands on it. It's a real mix of Celtic, fiddle, country and celtic rock. It's well produced, produced by Stuart Cameron( son of John Allen). I am seeking reviews on there shows so i'm glad you replied.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with Ewan for pints and 3 shows in Kincardine at the end of June.
Thanks again for the review,
Kilted Stuart

I just heard but it's still not confirmed, the Bhoys are playing Saturday Aug 12 af the Fergus Scottish Festival and highland games that runs on Aug 11-13th. I haven't heard from phatpiper to confirm this but it sounds good to me.
Hope to see a few x-markers at some of the highland games this year.

I saw them Memorial Day weekend at the East Durham Irish Festival. I actually enjoyed them less than I have in the past. I'm not saying they were bad, or that I did not enjoy them at all, but I'll admit to some disappointment.
There was nothing technically wrong with the playing. Something about the style just doesn't work for me. I felt the same way while watching The Prodigals.

I prefer celtic music with a slightly harder edge myself, but it's nice to sit back and relax to some lighter stuff too. The Bhoys are a little folkier than i'm use to but I have to support a friend (Phatpiper) in his endevors. It's not for everyone but what band is. I just like to see Phatpiper in his element, on stage.

I got my first chance to see them last night at the Irish Fest in Cuyuhoga Falls, OH. and I thought they were awesome!
Mirand is not only beautiful, but plays a men fiddle, can dance up a storm and has the voice of an angel!
Ewan blows some mean pipes and is just an all around great showman, and played kilted. My wife though he was "pretty cute" as well!
All in all a great show!!
