If this is the pattern of the crashes then, I hope somebody can pass on easy instructions on assigning the program more memory and a larger cache. Again, if this is the pattern, then another solution is to assess how many movies before the freeze up and, in future, quit explorer after a couple of movies, and then watch the rest. Try quitting explorer and going to the foxhunting after re-opening the program. It should work.
Hopefully this is not too much gobbledygook.
Archangel, while this explanation makes complete sense to me, I am not sure it is going to be helpful to Ham, based on his professed technical skills, or lack thereof. For ease's sake, Ham, try closing all web browser windows, then open up one explorer window and go to the movie. It is OK to come here first to get the link. The other option is to change to the Firefox browser.

The link above is to download the browser. Then you will just need to double click on the file you downloaded and it will install the software. After the install, double-click on the new Firefox icon on your desktop and go to the movies you want to see.

Ham, if this is still beyond your technology comfort level, I will HAVE to schedule a visit!:smile:

    Cheers!

You know me well, Rob, but not as well as you think! Even your guidelines are beyond me, I'm afraid. I have no idea what "web browser windows" and an "explorer window" are, and as for opening and closing them, well........!

I wish you would, Rob! I do know how to defragment my hard disk though and did it just after Easter, and I did help my neighbour to log back on-line yesterday - she's been unable to for several weeks and we found she had 587 E-mails waiting! So I am not a complete ninckenpoop and am always up for learning new tricks!!
