Yup, that's your kilt. :-) I always keep a photo record of every kilt I make. I've done three different Buchanan kilts over the past year, each pleated differently, so I displayed those in a recent blog post.

It really illustrates how what stripe you choose can affect the look of the kilt.
I hope you get yout kilt soon! I sent it out FedEx 2-Day on Monday, in hopes that you would get it on Wednesday. Send me a PM if you still haven't received it, and when I get into the office I can pull the tracking number and find out where it is for you.
Enjoy!

Recieved it yesterday. My speech went well. Afterwords one guy tried to convince me that highlander is a good show and that I looked like Duncan McLeod. I got a couple of "Nice kilt"s.
BTW, I prefer to wear a belt with kilts, just makes it look more complete. But how do you keep the belt from sliding up and off the kilt when you sit? Just make it tighter? Then it bunches up the apron under the buckle.

Jacob,
I think the belt completes the look, too (though I don't always wear one). If the belt is properly fitting, you shouldn't have any problem with it sliding around. You want it to be snug, but not too tight. If you see any "bunching" in the apron, usually you can just smooth this out after you tighten your belt. If there is too much bunching, it could mean that your kilt is too big.
I usually don't put belt loops on the kilt, as I don't think they are really needed (you can look through the archives here for discussions on belt loops). I don't have them on any of my kilts, but if you like I can always add them for you. Just PM me if you decide on this.
Glad your presentation went well! BTW, everyone I showed your kilt to really liked the Buchanan pleated that way.
