A much thank you to everyone's advice on here. Inaki, your'e definitley not wrong on how to respond to the community. I guess if you have friends and family who are supportive that helps quite a bit as well.

A kilt is clothing, it does no good hanging in a closet. Wear it, enjoy it, the people who you care about will come around, and as for the rest it does'nt matter what they think or say, you won't remember that stuff. Just go out there with confidence, and wear what you want.
Happy Kilting.

from Akron, Ohio. If you go to the Ohio games in Wellington this year stop by the athletics field, it would be nice to meet you.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

Just wear it! You will have no problems wearing a kilt in Ohio. I've never had a problem wearing mine along the Mexican border.
A kilted Celt on the border.

And another delayed welcome from Snellville, Georgia!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
