Now you've all gone and done it...I've got to make my own "critter purse".

I'm thinking a beaver pelt bag with the tanned tail as the flap. We get numerous beaver DOR around here. Anyone seen one like that?

By a strange coincidence, the morning after I receive my skunk sporran, guess what I smell as soon as I step out the front door. That's right, someone hit a skunk somewhere in the neighborhood (it's fairly close to the woods). Such a lovely fragrance to assault your nostrils so early in the day.

That reminds me of when we went to visit Nopadon's parents in Amarillo, Texas. The day we arrived it was almost a windless day; the air was calm and still. But the next morning when we opened the door to our hotel room we found that the wind was blowing in across the cattle ranches and the entire city smelled of cow sh**. Then when we went for breakfast she had the windows open and the smell infiltrated everything. I could see with my eyes that I was drinking coffee and eating pancakes and eggs, but I couldn't smell any of that. The only thing sensed was the overwhelming odor of excrement.

And Nope's mom wonders why I refuse to pack up everything and move out to Amarillo.
