It turns out that Penny's is the supplier for the Toronto Scottish. He's sending me a catalog.
The Toronto Scottish Glengarry is currently available for $25. I'm not sure if that is Canadian or American but either way who cares, it's a nice price. Hey Ron, this would look sweet with your X-marks tartan

I'm going to assume CDN$. Either way though, great price. Is that an electronic catalog, or snail mail?

Snail. But Myles has sent me three email in the last 5 minutes and is sending the catalog out today. If that is indicative of their service, this could be a great find. I wish I had a kilt to match that Toronto Scottish glengarry but I'll try and make something work with my Gordon Modern or Fraser Hunting. Shoot even the desert tan wold look great with a Desert camo FK or PK. Oooooh, I'm getting that crazy urge to spend money on accessories ...... Anyone know what Blood is selling for these days?

Guess I'll send out an email of my own, get that catalogue. That TS Glen will definately go great with an Xmarks kilt!

Aside from a thick mane of hair, I have a couple of Ivy Caps, and I used to have an 8-panel newsboy that I absolutly loved; that was my style even before kilts.
I try to stay away from the military styles for everyday wear, as, in my eyes, they tend to push the look of the kilt into "uniform" status, and thus should be worn with all the accounterments - which kind of negates the "everday wear" concept. I'd say the rule of thumb for everyday wear should be: "What would you have worn with pants?"
At summer concerts in SoCal, however, it's all about the shade. ;)

To do 1 or two Glens you have to select from the established dice.
Here are the avaiable dice to choose from:

I'm thinking a brown glen with lovat green dice would work nicely with a forest marpat PK and maybe look decent with my Gordon kilt with brown sporran and leather.

Darn, no TS dicing available. Lovat blue would be my next choice on a navy Glen. He didn't happen to mention what colour Glens they have did he? Those guys at Glenngarryhats.ca do a nice looking sky blue.

At least I know that temptation is gone
I didn't ask about color of the Glen, but Myles sent me a couple of pics of a green and brown. It would be worth asking. Sounds like if it's out there he will probably have it or can get it.
