Welcome to XMarks, Reggie. It's sounds like you have the addiction, and having a supportive wife makes it even better.

Don't worry about it. It is usually difficult for everyone who isn't raised in a kilt to explain to at least one person in their family why they wear them.
My wife still thinks they are strange, and doesn't like to be seen in public while I am wearing it, but I am working on that. Alot.
Welcome! Please don't hesitate to ask any question you may have. You will definitly get some really great answers ( although they might not all be what you would expect!)

Thank-you
Thank-you all for the very warm and hearty welcome! I'm sure you will hear from me alot here. I enjoy coming to this site, and I really enjoy everyones sense of humor.
Graham, I don't wear a kilt to work...yet. I don't think it would go over to well, and I have to make a living there, so I'm not yet ready to risk any problems or misunderstandings. Timing is so essential, in so many things in life, and I'm waiting for the the right moment. When I do choose that battle I want to be well prepared, but I know it will happen sooner or later. This is my new cause, and I feel pretty passionate about it. But I do wear my kilts everywhere else. Initially my wife was somewhat skeptical, but after a few lengthy discussions she came about and now has no problem at all with it, and we go almost everywhere together. She likes my Utilikilt the best.
I've had only one bad reaction from a total jerk. I hope it never happens again, but I've been on guard, and ready, ever since. Alot of positive responses from the ladies though.
Thanks again everyone, you made me feel right at home.
Reggie
Yes, I definitely need more kilts....and a few kilt pins too. Oh yeah, some black kilt hose...a cable knit sweater to go with my Black Stewart, yeah, and some flashes would look nice. What about a nicer, evening type sporran.....and a black belt for my new Nightstalker.....
