Welcome! And don't wait until June, order one now and get used to wearing it EVERYWHERE! Then when you go to the games, you will not be self-conscious!

I'm just up the road from you in Asheville. We have a great celtic pub here so give me a holler if you're ever up this way.
That reminds me, we need to set up a kilt night some time soon...

Welcome to the forum. I am sure within a few days here you'll find all the kilt makers you need. BTW check out our own M.A.C. Newsome on the members list. He has the Scottish Tartans Museum and also makes kilts. Welcome again and prepare to be kilted

Secondly, I'm wonderng if anybody is from SC. Or if anybody know's of a good place where I can get a Kilt down here. I'm new to the area and I don't know where any other Scotsmen are!
Good to see more in greenville sc. haven't seen anyone on the street yet wearing kilts. The grandfather games in NC had kilts last year. Franklin NC has a place to order them from and a scottish shop. One also in Highland NC.
Stillwater is fast and cheap.

You're not the only one. I'm down in Charleston. A reminder that there's a Highland games here in September at Boone Hall Plantation. We're also lucky in that our local pipe band was just promoted to Grade 2...quite an accomplishment.

It's great to see some fellow Carolina kilt wearers! I hope to see you all at the Highland Games this year! And Scotty, I don't have a kilt yet, but when I do, you'll know, I'll be wearing it all the time!

If the place from which you can order kilts, seen at the highland games, was Clansman knitwear, two words of advice. First check with The Golden Gate Better Business Bureau website, and secondly, "STAY AWAY FROM THEM" Aside from these words of sound advice, Welcome to the forum.
