My neighbors met in England, but he is from Mauritius (a huge England supporter though) and she is from Spain (Madrid-ish area I believe).
The Scot in me can't cheer for England, but considering Canada is still part of the Common Wealth I still plan to rally behind Beckham and the boys. You never know, Brazil may lose their luggage and not be able to play than anyone has a good shot.

To be honest I dislike anti Englishness BUT with breathtaking hipocracy ill announce I wont be rooting for England, the team is a shower!! I watched yet another documentary about 1966 and the team then was so different, you cannot compare Beckham with Bobby Moore, Beckham was a good player but now more interested in modelling and making£££££££££££££s. the team of 1966 was a team with heart and fire they would have played for free. Nobby Stiles would have played with a broken neck never mind a broken foot. Bobby Moore had beaten Cancer before the 1966 finals!

This guy I know, scored a ticket to go the World Cup. His wife is quite excited about it, she gets to get rid of him for awhile.

We will be looking for a pub on the 9th as we travel from Amsterdam to Berlin to catch the England. I hope they do well. My travel mates will are originally from Equador, Iraq, Englad (but born in Mexico), and we are all American citizens now so we have many teams to cheer for.

As a Scot I think the world cup this year will be a complete non event wth no Scotland team taking part and no tartan army going to Germany to follow them. As there is no Scotland team involved I couldn't care less about these meaningless fixtures between foreign teams and I won't be taking any interest in the results.

I gotta admit that I no were near have the $$$ to go, screw the time I would make the time. But I will be watching it on TV, probably with my son. Its the one sport I enjoy watching and since he started playing this year ...
I would also like to add that I love that outfit MrPharr. I looked at the American Jersey and kinda liked it but thought it was over priced (usually do with sports stuff). However, now seeing it with that tartan and I love it. If I had the money I would definitely buy the outfit. I've liked the tartan but now I want it.
Who made that kilt?
I would think about matching it up with some Sambas too. Though I'm not sure how that would work with the hose...hmmm....
