when I drive to cape cod from tulsa
That's a long drive. I have done Cape Cod to San Deigo a few times when I lived in So Cal...never kilted, though. I grew up on the Cape and will be visiting family over the 4th.

I'll keep an eye for those ebay tanks, KT

I do enjoying driving kilted these days.
    Cheers

Driving kilted is the only way to go. To be honest, in a wool blend, the pleats will fall back out pretty readily when you stand up. And if you are really concerned, take a second one and change. I wore my tan UK for both the trip down and the trip back to Gatlinburg this past weekend, and the only pleat that got "pressed" the wrong way was the one that was messed up before I left on the trip. A quick sweep is enough for me to line everything up and be comfortable to sit. And the comfort from not having 13 dozen seams press the boys while sitting and driving for 8 hours straight is well worth it!

Here's a thought... put the kilt on backwards to wear while driving. Just don't forget to swing it around 180deg. when you get to your destination!

Now that idea I like! Probably mess up your shirt, though.
