Looks good to me! Nightstalker is a really good kilt/tartan for someone who wants to wear tartan, wants a bit of an alternative style, and can't spend a blinkin' mint, eh?
Yeah, hike it up a bit and it'll sit just fine. IT took me a while to start wearing my Stillwaters high enough.
If I could find plugs in ANY tartan I would definately buy them!! Unfortunately, I've never seen them. I have a neck tie in my Henderson ancient tartan that has a moth hole in it... maybe I could fashion a tartan front for a pair of plugs?? hmm...
I do like this tartan as well. As stated, it's my second kilt (my first being my Henderson ancient tartan i bought a few weeks ago.) I'm personally stuck with tartans, and can't seem to bring myself to by a solid color kit as of yet. THe UKs are nice.... but I'm also kinda hung up on the "no sporran" thing... we'll see.
As far as the legs...
I'm still working on filling my arms up, before I start on the legs. I've got one on the back of each calve... I'll have to post a picture... as one of them is quite funny.
Thanks for all the kind words, and a BIG thanks for all the advice.
Well, I know SWK goes up to pretty large waist sizes if that's what ya mean. And yeah as far as the UK/ sporran thing... I simply mean the look. THe ring of snap things kind of helps with that though. I'm sure I'll come around.
I like putting a face with posts as well. I'm sure by my screen name my picture didn't catch TOO many people off guard. Though the stretched earlobes are usually quite a shocker whether in picture or person...haha.
Looks Good, The first time I put on a SWK I wore it to low. then I hiked it up and wore it the way it is supposed to be worn and now I am use to the highwaist.
No worries.
