Well, segway was a new word which I had to look up on Wilkipedia. Never even seen one of those, let alone someone riding one kilted. Looks like the latest toy which will find its way across the Atlantic eventually. How does it balance? The scientific principle of leverage suggests that it would need a very heavy motor underhanging below the axle to counterbalance the weight and height of the person standing on it.

I live exactly three blocks away from the Seattle Segway dealer. The thing is exceptionally economical and clean. They're most easily manueverable and I think I'll throw on My Wallace SWK and go give another test ride!
