Steve, I need a vacation.
Are you the keeper of the guest list, with advance reservations required? Or do we just show up and crash this party?
My passport application was turned in two days ago - only six to eight weeks left now.
Do we need an entirely different kilt outfit for each day? Or just one kilt for the entire weekend? (Oh, wait... what to wear after falling down in the gutters? )
This is gonna be fun!

We are having to fight Canadian labour people with a working visa for Dr. Barb. The paperwork has been sent but I expect a further delay of near a month.
We may just hold this thing anyway. Barb has stated that she would like to visit our island anyway so perhaps we can forget the legal stuff and just do it.
KILT KAMP IS STILL ON.!!!!!!
I will need some advance notice if you wish to attend. This will set the price for the course. The more attending the cheaper the course. Right now there are 6 confirmed attendees not counting instructors. We have room for about 6 more.

Barb's course will take you through the entire process of making one Traditional kilt over the 5 day Kamp.
You will need your fabric, scissors, thread, needles, thimble and a Copy of Barb's book. (available thru Celtic Dragon Press)
Everything else will be here waiting for you. Coffee, bandaids, crying towels, etc.
If you need accommodations please feel free to e-mail or PM me and I'll get some references for you.
Geltlemen are requested to attend kilted. How else are we supposed to compare your kilts with all the others? And seeing other makers kilts and other styles of kilts is what Kilt Kamp is all about.
OK, that and the getting together with other kilted people and spouses and hoisting a few.

Yeah, I'd love to go too... but Father's Day (June 17th) is when my wife is due with our first child (Lilybeth Erin), and I think I'd rather stick around for that... Maybe next year I can attend!
