    work kilt

This is a photo of me at my work in my newly made X-kilt. Its the same material as the original box pleat I made as I was experimenting with pockets.
Needles to say I have managed to freak out evry one in my shop as even the people who can see wearing a kilt have difficulty with one as industrial clothing. Nevermind Iam now jonesing as I have sent off for a variety of matterial swatches in navy blue cotten ,polycotten, bull denim and hemp in order to work out what to make a set of these kilts in for work.

Ever try duck cloth/canvas? I have seen a few kilts made out of that (Buzz Kidder) and I think Utilikilts made a workmans out of duck cloth, and I think Neokilt offers one... seems like it would be a great medium for a work-kilt... seems like it's tough stuff. Looking good on your kilt.
A nice black tweed would make a fine solid colour for fancier occasions in my opinion.

That looks pretty darn good from what I can see. It's something I don't think I'd have the patience for. Congrats on a great job.

Great job on a nice looking work kilt. I wish I had your talent. It will be interesting to see what you come up with next based on the material swatches you ordered.
