Dreaming kilts now!!!
I dozed off after lunch today and was woken by a telephone call, right in the middle of dreaming I was rescuing someone from drowning - in the actual kilt that I was wearing at the time.
I can even remember how the pleats lifted up as I waded into the sea and swirled as the waves came in over the rocks.
I tend to have rather exciting dreams and used to be woken by the adrenalin rush of being killed in a swordfight with the Revenu' Men or wielding an axe in battle - rather strange dreams, I supose, for one of the female persuasion but it is something you get used to, eventually.
Happily I had just restored my rescuee's breathing before I was woken. I hate not knowing the end of the story.
I was rather amused to realise that kilts have now become so embedded in my psyche that my subconscious puts them into my dreams - though I have to admit that the dream kilt was rather better quality than the real one, which would never be that heavy even wet through.
Does anyone else go kilted in their dreams?

No specific dream comes to mind, but I have too noticed that I have been kilted in dreams for the past few months.

Not that I can think of so far but a few of us will probably put it on our dream wish list now!

Haven't been kilted in any dreams of mine, though a friend of mine gets angry at me because of my kilt: "Argh! I had a dream last night and you were wearing a kilt in it man! Why can't you just wear pants like everybody else, you're ruining my dreams. I can't stand these nightmares!!"

sounds like someone needs to buy a new kilt, so their dreams don't get boring!

I have had at least one dream in which I was kilted, but I do not recall now the theme.
Regards,
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

No, not me (as far as I am aware, that is) and that's after 56 years of kilting!
