New CCK Kilt
After a couple of issues with shipping, my army green canvas 6 yard kilt with matching flashes arrived from Canadian Casual Kilts ! It fits quite well a little loose just like I ordered it (I put on weight in the winter). I really like this material although it will take quite a while to "loosen up". I have a hakama made from the same material and it has held its pleats without ironing for 3 years (although I do fold it up every night). I can guarantee that I will not wear this kilt out. Period. Here's a shot of me wearing it in our back yard:
And for a close-up of the pleats:
The pleats look great although there appears to be a little deviation in their width at the top but maybe this is normal? (I don't know how to make a kilt, just how to wear one) The flashes are a little off in a couple of places but I like the design and Pete gave me a really good deal on them, so I can't complain in the least.
Overall, I'll have to give the kilt a 4.5/5. It fits well and will last forever. Even my wife likes it (who is not a fan of kilts).
