Try my IMFF gallery on Page 2 under "other kilt stuff" album...the one with the dancing Hopi's for a highlight. http://www.imff.net/php/useralbums/album28
Thanks for the kind words guys. Its this board that gives me the connect and the info to survive as a lone kiltie in the boonies.

    Smile Badger at Brock

The badger is the mascot of my university, Brock. A badger is sometimes referred to as a "brock". It is prominant in the Brock family's coat of arms. The formal sporran seen in my avitar is of badger fur with brass.

"The badger is an animal noted for his fierceness and courage in fighting to defend his home. The symbol of the badger represents bravery, perseverance and protection. It is more typically found in the armor of England than that of other nations. " http://www.familynamesonline.com/charges2.html

My two oldest "chosen" children are Native American, so I can appreciate the lovely artwork. Well done!

    Ron:

That painting is spectacular and the thought behind it is very special.

    What a marvelous gift!

Wherever you decide to display this wonderful painting, make sure you write it's story and keep it with the art for future generations of riverkilts.

It's a beautiful piece, and so loaded with meaning from your life. A lady that sensitive to your sensibilities is one to treasure.

Yes, found the picture via the link, Ron, a very poignant picture and the dog and badger beside you and the people in the foreground are a thoughtful touch.

Wow, that is one of the most meaningful and beautiful pieces I have ever seen.

Congrats on a life well lived, and having so many people who care so much about you in it. Whatever your past, it brought you to where you are today, and without it you would be a far different person.
