    Where did Dave get those burgundy hose he's wearing in that top left picture. They look very thick. The Ulster looks great also!
    I'm honestly not sure. I think he may have mentioned TartanWeb. If you are looking for burgundy hose, be advised that in the near future our museum's giftshop will be offering a line of hose from the Hawick Sock Company available in 18 different colors, including burgundy! (I'm excited about the new line, and I'll be posting more info when they become available).

    That's the Moncrieff tartan (aka Old MacLachlan) on the left, in an 11 or 12 oz weight cloth. It's lighter than I preferr for a four yard kilt, but it was what the client had (he supplied his own cloth that he purchased from the Moncrieff Society), and I think it worked out nicely.

    The kilt on the right is the Campbell tartan, in a 16 oz weight woven by Lochcarron. I always prefer heavy weight cloth in a four yard kilt -- it works out fantastically in terms of drape and feel.

    Both tartans are in the ancient color scheme.
