Interesting little anecdote, Ron, brightened up my morning. Our local sheriff sometimes wears a kilt, but not while sitting in court.

In my county, there is a local judge who will sometimes ask me "So, whose civil rights did you violate this time?" He is, of course, joking and only gives me a hard time if there is no 'public' around.

That same judge has given me the okay to wear a kilt to court to testify.

So, at the end of the day yesterday the local Justice of the Peace calls me from the bench and asks me to go into the jail to do a DUI screening for the court today.

So, it'll be MacLean Hunting USA Casual with green kilt hose, white shirt and green sweater vets...and Z Coils.

Gonna be interesting to see the other inmate reaction, if any...been kilted in jail before with no comments.

    Thanks for the story Ron!

One response that I've used to the bagpipe question is "at home on CD" or if asked if I play "sure in the CD player". I think if I were to try the pipes I'd be arrested for abusing a bag full of cats!

    Hmmm......

I don't play the bagpipes, but sometimes I put my cat in a pillowcase and squeeze it under my arm. Sounds about the same.....
