I love my Gunn modern, it was handed down to me by my dad,
I will be wearing for Christmas as well, with brown daywear accessories.

USAK will leave off the patch at your request. It can be removed with a seam ripper.

The patch is sewn on with the widest stitch setting on our machine so that if you WANT to take it off you can. There is no adhesive holding it on, so there won't be a "mess" when you take it off.

nice lookin combo, I just got a Gunn tartan kilt, and a brown belt from the Scottish Lion, it's made by L+M in Nova Scotia. I would use a different hanger for you kilt, please check out the link for advice.

Personally, I fold lightweight kilts in half (Pleats out) and use the wooden hanger shown in the photo. If the kilt is a tank, I use two hangers in tandem (end to end - nothing droops) and fold in half (pleats out). Works great, no unwanted creases

Thanks for the advice gentlemen. Actually, since this is a lightweight kilt (11 oz. Poly Viscose) and about half the fabric of a traditional "tank" this hanger works great. It does droop a bit on each end. But, not enough to crease or cause any other general mishape. For my wool kilts I do use the two hangers in tandom method.
