I'm sorry the weather was such a spoilsport for Hogmanay.

The picture of the officer really shows you just how bad it was, what a mess it must be now what with portable tolets being blown over 
Ah well as everyone said saftey first,
I'm sure there were a few indoor events to go to
but it is a shame.

After spending a night in the Munich flughaven, I know what you are talking about. I wish I could give you a set of ear plugs. I always carry them when I travel.

Home again
Thanks for all the wishes, guys. Our plane was delayed for 4 hours in Edinburgh, and it took three hours to clear TSA in Atlanta (what a flippin' nightmare!) but we finally got home at 2:30 AM.
Despite the Hogmanay disappointment (and the gruesome exchange rate! )the trip was splendid. Photos will follow in another thread.
