I would have loved to have gone, however I was at work in Toronto. I will get there one day.

It was a lovely time with myself, Matt "Rex Tartani" Newsome, the character known as Ronin Dubh the "Black MacGregor," some museum staff and random visitors.
Alas, there were no cookies, but there were plenty of peppermint sticks.
I got the X Marks tartan, some Carolina 16 oz tartan (a remnant Matt had from the one on his recent blog post), some source info material on tartan and kilts, and some orange Scot national beverage

(IRN BRU, VERY rare over/down here).
Now, I need to get some kilts started . . .

I can say, the X Marks tartan is MUCH darker than I was expecting. I REALLY like it, MUCH more than I thought I would!

Too bad noone else could make it.
