The kilt is really nice looking I must say. I am also impressed with the china, cane & blade collection you have. Was that picture taken in your study?

It's our front room which is my domain. We call it the library.

If it wasn't for SWK, I might still be wearing Utilikilts exclusively, and have missed out on the "tartanic joys" of life.

I've been thinking about a Royal Stewart kilt for a long time, both because I like the tartan and because my friends in the local pipe band wear it.
I usually put off that urge because I don't think I'd wear it enough to justify the $80 and I don't want to tell my wife I'm spending more money on kilt stuff. So far, I've resisted.
You're NOT helping, Panache. Not one bit! Looks great.

if it helps, I've been wearing my Heavyweight Irish Saffron almost every day since I recieved it months ago. and the worst I can say is that it flew up once when trying to get into my truck in 30mph winds. Excellent service, and a great kilt to wear!
if you want more pics of a stillwater kilt, there are tons all over www.kiltsrock.com/

I'm not an everyday kilt-wearer, KT. I wear them for games, festivals, our monthly kilt night and the two or three semi-formal or formal events we attend during the year. The two kilts I have are plenty for that.
Still, that red Stewart looks really nice...

Panache, you not only have panache in style, you have a great deal of panache in your manner.
You are a pleasant person with whom one can be proud to associate. Too bad you're way out west. We could use you at the Burns Supper tomorrow night! (Take the red-eye. Take the red-eye. We'll see if the subliminal message gets through.) I love that look, and I am not a big fan of red tartan! I am reviewing the situation here.
Thanks for the pix. Looking good as always.
And ditto to good experiences with SWK.

Would love to join you fellows but I have a date with a Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess in Pacifica tomorrow night at out Burn's Night Supper. I am smoking the first batch of 5 lbs. of salmon for it as I write this. I will be giving the "Address to a Haggis" and my lovely bride is scheduled to give "The Lasses Response".
But I will be toasting you and all are good members of this forum.
Have a great Burn's Night Supper and posts pictures!
Cheers

Thanks Panache. That's the kind of review/advice/pics that is really helpful to folk who have not yet taken the plunge. And you look really good in it. $140 for the whole outfit. Excellent value I'd say.
