I like that tartan!! My niece's school colors are purple and white and I've been threatening to get a purple kilt to wear to her ball games. This would be perfect.

This probably isn't close enough for you guys, but its closer.

You can always go to the British Gallery and blow up the pic there. Warrior pics are on page 4.

    Ron,
I've been interested in that tartan for awhile, with others Is it like a grape purple?
I'll take a look-see at your page and see if I can blow it up.

    Dave,

Its different indoors and in the sunlight, probably because of the black in the tartan too.

Indoors, its subdued. Outdoors, when the sun hits its like Crayola purple.

I'd thought about buying a pair of the Lewis hose in purple that Matt sells to wear with it. But, for me, they are both so bright it would look like I'd been painted purple.

If I were gonna wear it for school spirit/team colors would probably wear it with white hose and shirt to highlight the purple in the kilt.

For regular wear so far I've just been able to figure out the gray/charcoal hose and sweater look.

Nice Ron, I have been eyeing that one for a while, but the wife is not a big fan of the purple. Oh well, there are plenty of other options. Maybe after I finish her pink tartan kilt/skirt, I can convince her to let me go for the Warrior tartan to let the purple set off the pink when we go out together!

I would agree with you. With such a vibrant colour kilt purple hose, I think would be too much. Don't want to be too in yer face to the non kilted public.
