"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." I loved the sock dream website! I didn't know there were so many different kinds of socks!

I like the site myself. I find that the thigh high socks work great for kilt hose. They are long enough to roll over a couple of times under the knee, even with my big calves. Of course, I only get the more masculine colors.

I happen to have very slender calves, actually bordering on chicken legs. I have a hard time finding knee high boots that don't make my legs look even skinnier. This knee high and thigh high sock thing is starting to sound like a pretty good alternative to knee high boots. I just hope they don't make me look like I rode in on an ostrich!
