buying kilt outfit

I've used the firm (though not purchased a complete 'set' outfit from them). They've got a shop near to the British Museum in London and the staff there are well-informed and courteous. The goods are generally up to scratch IMO.

I'd phone them and talk though what you want and haggle for a 'package' price, rather than accepting the 'standard offer' 4 yard.

I'd agree that you should avoid the Saxony stuff like the plague.

I bought my ouyfit from Houston Kiltmakers, Glasgow www.kiltmakers.com. I found them very competitive and great service. They even called me twice in the States to answer questions they had. They have an outstanding range of tartans as well.

You might want to use them at least for comparison shopping.

thank all of you for opinions and suggestions.

in the matter of fact I mailed to Highland Store asking if it is possibility to buy grey spirit outfit as a whole outfit package not only for hire (I like grey best), and they told me that new offer is being preparing.
in few days there should be more outfits available (deluxe, super deluxe, standard, black and grey).
