Welcome home and thank you for your service.
Next time, visit Lowe's. You'll save money and their staff and customers are nicer so it should elicit some positive responses!

Welcome Home!!!
The last time I wore a kilt to a Home Depot, I got no comments either. Unfortunately, that included no comments like, "Can I help you?" I think it pushed the employees out of their comfort zone.

I've had naught but good comments in Home Depot. But I agree with JerMc. It's fun to give out "clever" replies and often opens up an opportunity for a short educational discussion.

The staff at your Home Depot actually ask if they can help you? Amazing! Seriously, I sure remember my "Walmart" test and the "Home Depot" test too. Now I just wear my kilts when and where I want.
Welcome home, thank you for your service, and happy kilting!

Last time I was in Norfolk it confused the guests at the Airport Hilton. But that was all. Enjoy your stay. Now you have an excuse to go the Stark & Legum, downtown on Granby St, to get a good matching hat.

Navyguy,
I remember the first time I wore my UK Mocker to Home Depot, I expected to get some comments and was prepared. I didn't have any trouble. As for comments I did get one: "Hey is that a Utilikilt? Cool!"
Cheers
