...so is it the Crail model or the Wallace? I've seriously got my eye on the Wallace jacket and vest in black...also, how is the fit?...did you order your normal jacket size and was that a good fit? I only ask because I saw someone mention that they tend to make jackets "snug" in the UK and that one should think about ordering one size larger to compensate.
And may I say that it does look elegantly understated and quite sharp.
It's the "Tweed Argyle w/ 5 Button Waistcoat" - and yes, it doesn't have the epaulets or the usual Argyle cuffs. Being tweed, it's a little heavier/coarser than the fabric of my black formal Argyle. A really nice "country jacket" if I do say so. The Wallace jacket on the site looks nice as well, but since I already have a black Argyle my next jacket purchase will likely be in Lovat Green.
My other Argyle is a little snug at 36 long, so I got this jacket at 38 long and it's just a touch large. I guess in the end I'd rather be able to comfortably raise my arms over my head than have it snug across the shoulders. I might have been able to get away with 38 regular on this jacket, but I'm a lanky guy.

I bought an Argyll from Hector Russell in December. I got fitted in their store and ended up with a 46 regular. The last suit I bought in the US was a 40 short. I"m probably closer to a 42 these days.
