    I'd like to claim the praise for myself, but unfortunately it wasn't I who came up with the stacked kilt pins look. I got the idea from McDonald of Boisdale at a ceilidh at his club in Victoria (central London) last year to raise money for the Sṭras Uibhist (Uist Trust) - the foundation to help crofters on Uist buy their land.

    Actually in the interests of accuracy that confused wording should read "...from Ranald McDonald, yr, of Clanranald at his club Boisdale..."
