    My best guess is that it is the MacAulay sett, minus the red overstripes in the green field.



    Looks very nice. Great job on keeping the pleating straight and even.

    Congrats! A very nice looking kilt. I like how you were able to get that horizontal stripe right at the fell, or did it just happen that way?

    Well, it is hard to say when I settled on the stripe. Mostly, it was just random. I had to hem the material so there was little planning on where the fell ended. Once I started the pleating, it was only natural for me to follow the stripe.

    I really like the window pane look of the red...

    I wore the kilt on Burns night to the high school. I mentor a FIRST robotics program for the local high school (s).
