Glad you got out OK. Can you at least stay on the PC for the next month?

That's terrible news but at least you two were able to walk away. On the bright side at least you wear kilts. When I damaged my knee it was killer pulling on a pair of levis.

Ahh, you'll try it anyway, Greg. You know you will. What's a little pain to a dedicated piper?

    Gah!
I feel your pain on that one my man. I had a problem in my right wrist a couple years back and couldn't drum for about a month, doctor's orders. It was really, really irritating to begin with but knowing that if I didn't obey I could make the situation worse and therefore make me away from it even longer scared me straight. Best to just heal up and jump right back on the horse as soon as your doctor says it's safe.

The bright side was I became really adept at banging out rhythms with my feet! I'm sure you'll find a good piping related use for the time off as someone else mentioned.

You can't even play a practice chanter?

Sorry Gaisgeil I'm not that smart. turpin knows how stubborn Gordons can be!
But no, I guess this means I'll just have to concentrate on my Uilleann piping! No strong breathing required!!!
