I, too, like the Welsh PC; thanks for showing it.

I'm curious about what is on the epaulets???

It has benefits and drawbacks though Alex as the tartan limits your choice of cilt (or kilt) to one!

I'd make one small suggestion, coming from my sporran design: If you were to get a plain set of gauntlets made and use velcro to attach them, you could use the PC with any cilt in your inventory and for wearing with the Dewi, change out with the tartan gauntlets.
An interesting idea turpin but am not sure how it would work, the tartan is sewn on, not only one the sleeves, but also on the tails at the back. Of course it would be possible to acquire a PC for each Welsh tartan one acquired but that starts getting rather expensive!

The Red Dragon (Draig Coch) and the flag of St David are on each epaulette, will do some more detailed pics.

The ex-hire PCs look very good, Trefor. I saw them last weekend in the Cardiff shop and one would not know that they were not brand new. At £89.00 they are tremendously good value but, as you say, you are limited to wearing them with just one kilt!

    Thanks Sara!

They have a ladies section on their site but the closest I could find there was a "Clogyn" which comes with Welsh tartan on it http://welshtartans.bpweb.net/ladies...guy-p-142.html

Not cheap alas but looks very elegant!

Hey that is really is nice. Thanks for the link. I really have to find a job out of the non-profit sector or win the lottery soon! My Great-Grandmother was from Wales (the only great grandparent who was not Scottish) so I should start adding some Welsh pieces to my closet!
    Thanks again,
