Ok, ok... Don't read below if you haven't seen ep 20 from Atlantis. It is a bit of a spoiler I suppose. I still dislike the fact that the USA folks have to wait for this to air legitimately. 
The "acting" director of the medical department is Kaylee (Jewel Staite) from Firefly. We went from a Scottish doctor to Kaylee. I, for one, am O.K. with it!
I don't know if she's sticking around, but hey, it's O.K. for now.

I don't consider it "Cheating"... I just consider it not waiting for the political  to sort itself out in the states. I mean... they've aired the episodes. Why not show them here too? I hate waiting. At least I didn't give anything plot related away. Sorry if I spoiled a surprise

Spolers? If you use the internet, how can you avoid them?
We don't have cable (concious decision...I'd never get my kids away from the bloody TV if we did) so I see the SG Atlantis episodes in syndication a year later. I will miss Carson and his Saltire patch on his uniform...but Rodney still has his Maple Leaf...we here applauded that one.
And Jewel Staite was my daughter's fave on Firefly, so she's going to become an instant fan. I love the way that so many of the actors from other Sci-Fi series show up on the Stargates. I remember that Christopher Judge showed up on an episode of Andromeda once (with hair) and that was one of those, "wow, is that cool!" moments. Just proves that no one ever really dies in Fantasy/Science Fiction storylines...I still remember Ming the Merciless perishing in the flames with Liszt's "Les Preludes" blasting away in the background only to turn back up in the next Flash Gordon serial...

I enjoyed the fact that they had a kilted piper on the show but he sure did miss quite a few notes!
Carson was one of my favorite characters on the show. I hated to see him go.

Yeah I saw Jewel Staite, I wish they wouldn't have pulled the plug on firefly.
