All the Scottish Borders archives are held here and there are also many records from Dumfries & Galloway, Northumberland, and the debatable lands so if you have ancestry in the north of England or south of Scotland here is the place to do your research.

As if I needed another reason to stop by when I finally make my trip to the UK. My mother's family is originally from just to the east of you in Jedburgh. The opportunity to flesh out the geneology would be too good to miss.
