On topic:
They look good.
Interesting to see the contrast of the solid and the tartan.

Actually, I'm Kilted Cossack almost everywhere else, but just plain ol' Kid Cossack here.
But, um, yeah.
Marshal Moroni---I really DO like the bonnet, but the blue ghillies--YOWZA! (A bit much for me.)

It warms the heart to see a father and son kilted.

The top of the Kilt is usually about 2 inches above your belly button. The Kilt's edge usually no lower than the middle of the kneecap. (Hence the ladies term "Sexy Knees" when they see us.....).

Kid Cossack, I tend to wear Crocs when going casual, I also have a brown pair which would have been less eye popping. I think I'll have to acquire a pair in black for a slightly more traditional look.
Ozman1944,
Thanks for the kilt wearing tip. I need to wear my a bit longer due to religious reasons, but I think I can get closer than what is shown in the picture.
I appreciate the kind words and the advice, what a great on line community.
Cheers,

I think both kilts are tartan...one is black watch.
They look good on you both...but just a tad long. You want to wear them high enough that they hit the top of the knee.

I noticed a problem with the first photo you tried to post you were missing the first square bracket I think this will fix it.
