I do have to wonder er..... (cough, cough) perhaps Hamish (the coo) is a bit grumpy since he's not getting the new kilts or attention that his counterpart in West Sussex is?

Alex, you have done it yet again! Thank you for a grand travelogue, and it's good to see Ann out and about again.
Jim and I met up with 'Jock Scot' at The Commando Monument near Spean Bridge back in June. Unfortunately, the cloud cover was too low for us to see Ben Nevis - I still have never seen it!! It is certainly a very beautiful part of Scotland (and not far from my wee sporting estate in the Braes o' Lochaber!).
