    OK, OK it is:

    a valve tip of an irrigator, an old one with bakelite parts, meant to be sterilised,
    no one use item as they are nowadays.

    No, it was not in use, I got it still in its original packing and it fits nicely as an occupational pin, I am a geriatric nurse....




    And as you can see it looks good!
