    i have this feeling that Arlen let out a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" when he saw his kilt.

    Well, that picture just kind of hurts to look at... I suspect like others that the pain you felt might only have been slightly less than what your Dad must have felt when he realized what he had done.

    ahhh ok! The way it was folded made it look like it had shrunk even more than that. (Width I mean)

    I was told that the width wouldn't shrink too much, due to all the stitching and pleats, but that length would shrink a bit more. Definitely seems to be proven here!

    I definitely think it can be "punked up" enough for your sis to wear. Get a favourite band's patch sewn onto the apron, add some big pins, et voila!

    Still sorry to hear, it's a wonderful looking tartan too.
