Not fair! Showing the Antarctic wrapped around some lass's bottom is giving it an unfair advantage!

I've cast my completely unbiased vote.
And Mr. MacDougall and Mr. Teach (and those yet to post), I'll remind you of the fact that is Barb's daughter you're commenting about.

Even though my ancestors are from Isle of Skye, I had to cast a vote for the caledonia tartan. My decision was based on just what I could see of these tartans at various websites, of course; I'm sure these would all look much more beautiful in person.
McMurdo - your Maple Leaf is grand! It looks very autumnal!

I am frankly amazed that a frozen wasteland is garnering so many votes!

And you imagine Barb has somehow overlooked the fact that her daughter is girl-shaped? Or that boys notice girl-shaped people?

True, but the tartan is beautiful.

The human eye greatly enjoys looking at artistic things that meld blues and greys. So, it would make a great deal of sense that many people would like it. Thats why you will see many companies use blue and grey to sell advertising.

    Cheers.

The selling point for me was that flash of yellow when the pleats swing: looked great to start with, but that was unexpected icing on the cake. Then the bottom!

Maybe I'm weird but it's my least favourite of the lot.

It was the same for me Raptor, The grey exposed hue when pleated the way it is subdues it but when the pleats swing open as it does there it is amazing the contrast. Even flat it is a beautiful tartan. I didn't read anything more into this than just what the poll asked, I did not take into account symbolism or anything else.
