Anyone know where to rent a kilt in Ohio?
I am from Scottish heritage and am marrying an Ohio native so would like 6-8 kilts for the wedding. Are there any rental places in Ohio or would any of the local pipe bands hire kilts for a weekend.
Four of the party are pipers/ drummers back home and have been regular wearers of kilts for years so know the care required to look after the uniform.
Anyone got ideas?

Damning the torpedos!
(1) Who is going?
My wife is out of town and coming back that afternoon, let me make sure she doesn't mind watching the young lass that night before I say 100%
(2) What time works best?
How about 7, not too late nor early.
(3) Which place, Brazenhead or Byrnes?
Brazenhead is just fine. We should be fine spotting each other.

Great! Here is a start - unless someone else wants to come but these options just don't work, we will meet at 7pm, Saturday, January 12th at the Brazenhead Pub in Dublin, OH. Lets plan on at least starting at the bar.

I have used cleaners, but if you are just trying to get it pressed, I ask how good you are with an iron. That is usually what I do...a little steam, a little pressure...and away you go!

Kiwi,
Welcome to the site!
Try Romanoff's in Columbus (rented for my wedding and helped make a number of kilts for the rental side about 3 years ago) I found them @ http://www.cols-yellowpages.com/clients/32728.html but I always had to call and talk to Ivan. I know they had Braveheart stocked (red & black pleated to the stripe) and a blue/green (not too far from Blackwatch) and even a few solid black.
Researching back then I also found someone near Cleveland, can't find that info.

Hey guys,
The kid is going to her cousins, so the wife may be driving (is that alright?) and I'm trying to get a friend to come out for at least a little bit.
So with big smiles, it looks like I should be there!
